Case Study: CGI

Technical consultancy, implementing Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.1.3 HCM across more than 25 countries around the world.

With the implementation of a global shared services centre in Manilla, Philippines, I was engaged to give specific expert advice and guidance on the use of Oracle Workflow within the shared service centre environment, initially on a short-term basis to resolve issues which had come to light once the implementation had gone live. After delivering training to the technical team on Workflow best practice and problem solving, I worked with the off-shore team in India and the Philippines to resolve issues across the system. I developed a series of complex modules for reconciling payroll data between Oracle and a range of third-party payroll vendors across 28 countries to cut the number of discrepancies and maintain the Oracle system as the master across all environments. Working with HR staff in Europe, I delivered integration pieces to enable the Netherlands business unit to introduce a flexible benefits solution for all their employees.
